Christopher Block, Ph.D., offers strategies for overcoming negative self-perception and improving emotional health.
Beginning in early childhood, our life experiences, relationships and environment form a “life script” that guides our beliefs about who we are and what we are capable of achieving. Oftentimes, this self-concept is based on distorted, negative beliefs that lower our self-esteem, affect our mood and inhibit personal growth. Christopher Block, Ph.D., examines common life scripts and offers strategies for improving self-perception and emotional health.
Participants will:
Priests, deacons, men and women religious, lay ministers, and those involved in vocations, formation, or clergy and ministry personnel needs.
Questions for reflection and discussion prior to the learning session are provided below.
